Job Description: Takes lead on the following accounting needs: * Journal entry preparation; general ledger account analysis and reconciliations; bank reconciliation; application of customer payment. * The General Accountant will also collaborate with the department's director on any special sprojects. * Manages aspects of fixed asset ledger. * Reviews monthly financial activity for accounts and company codes in the area of responsibility. * Identifies and implements process improvements. * Assists finance management with research and write-ups of accounting policies and procedures. * Works closely with finance management on day-to-day processes as well as special projects. * Must be commited to work overtime (when needed) to meet month-end close, year-end close, audits and other special projects. Job Requirements: * Bachelors degree in accounting, or similar field preferred. * Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role; with work on general ledger and financial accounting. * Strong knowledge of general accounting and SOX compliance. * Strong knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office programs, including (but not limited to) Excel, PowerPoint and Word * Able to collaborate and work effectively to meet goals and objectives. * Welcomes change and embraces new processes, when needed. * Able to take direction, ask questions and meet deadlines. * Strong decision making, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. * Highly ethical. #LI-TP1 IND123 Target Market Salary Range: Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs.
