Oklahoma football is seeking a driven and innovative content creator to fulfill the role of Football Assistant Video Coordinator. The Assistant Video Coordinator will assist in all aspects of the sports video operations for football. This includes film exchange, video capture, editing, production, equipment maintenance, and related support for coaching staff' and student-athlete use. The Coordinator will capture and edit content at all football practices, games, and workouts. They will set up and assist in the execution of position meetings in the football facility and at offsite locations for road games and bowl trips. This is NOT a Coaching Position. Essential Functions: * Assist in the day-to-day operation of the Video Department * Provide AV / Tech support to Coaches, Staff and all other personnel involved with Football * Provide for the AV / Tech needs of the Student Athletes * Coordinate and train a student staff of 12-15 and a Graduate Assistant * Assist in the creation of highlight and motivational videos * Operation and maintenance of all video department equipment and all technology in our facility * Setup, videoing, and editing of all practices, games, and workouts * Creation of highlight and motivational videos * Operate and maintain video technology used in the facility * Home/Road/Bowl setup and tear down * Travel to away games and bowl site * Assist with the needs of other departments and sports while in our facility * Other duties as necessary Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Broadcasting, Marketing, Journalism or related field; AND * 24 months of experience in creative media, sports production or related field. Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months of related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree for a total of 72 months of related experience Skills: * Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment that often requires irregular hours, nights, weekends and travel * Excellent organizational, problem-solving and communications skills * Proven ability to build relationships, collaborate and work effectively with diverse constituents * Detail-oriented for accuracy of information, data, grammar and brand standards Advertised Physical Requirements: * Be able to sit and look at a computer for prolonged periods and engage in repetitive motion * Must be able to lift heavy objects over 50 pounds (video equipment is constantly moved) * Frequent exposure to pressure caused by deadlines and busy periods * Requires work during non-business hours Certifications: * Valid Oklahoma Driver's License in order to drive University vehicles or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire date.
