Title: Teaching Artist of Double Bass - 200055 Position Number: 200055 Unit/Department: Music FTE: Paid Per Lesson/Varies Depending Upon Enrollment Salary: $45.00 - $50.00/hour, depending upon qualifications/experience Department Summary: The Department of Music is a unit of the Drake University School of Fine Arts and a visible musical resource for the community and the region. Its mission is to provide a center for the study and understanding of music that develops students' intellectual, practical, and expressive abilities by emphasizing professional preparation, collaborative learning, critical thinking, and musical communication. Job Summary: Drake University invites candidates interested and experienced in teaching studio double bass lessons to undergraduate music majors, minors and non-major participants; other duties (e.g., Lower Strings Methods, etc.) may be assigned depending on the candidate's expertise. Assist full-time faculty with recruitment.
