Two current letters of recommendation (preferably by a Supervisor dated within 12 months) CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: All employment offers are conditional, based upon the successful completion of the following: Drug screening, fingerprint/background clearance, and a tuberculosis clearance. Insurability by the District's liability insurance carrier. HEALTH BENEFITS: Permanent full-time employees receive $9,660.00 toward the purchase of medical, dental, and vision coverage. Benefits for permanent part-time employees are prorated according to the number of hours worked per week. EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in nutrition, dietetics, public health, or a closely related field. • Two years' experience in school nutrition programs involving menu or nutrition event planning, nutritional analysis, and procurement of food items, supplies, and equipment. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: • Valid California driver's license and use of a personal automobile. An applicant for this class will be required to obtain, at his/her own expense, and submit his/her motor vehicle driving record at the time of appointment. The record must meet and be maintained at the District's safe driving record standard. Failure to meet this requirement will result in the disqualification of the applicant. • Active status as a Registered Dietitian is preferred.
