The Assistant Director is responsible for oversight of all imaging services#under the direction of the Director of Oncology## Imaging Services. This position, in addition to all the duties and responsibilities of the other technical staff, performs advanced technical work and supervision within the department.# This position is responsible for maintaining compliance with all regulatory agencies. The Assistant Director maintains imaging quality for Imaging Services and assists in the management of PACS. The Assistant Director works with the Director on initiatives for patient, physician and staff satisfaction.# The Assistant Director, in conjunction with the Director, is responsible for patient flow, departmental staffing and the oversight of imaging students.# Responsibilities:# Assists with operational assessment and maintenance of equipment and supplies# Able to provide all patient care duties and responsibilities of the other technical staff Monitors department programs for quality assessment and improvement Provides for department staffing and#scheduling# Assists with department meetings and in-service education#of the staff Keeps Director informed of department actions and maintains a positive relationship with physicians Keeps abreast of joint commission and ACR standards and takes appropriate action to comply Complies with all state, FDA, and ACR requirements Oversees staffing schedule to ensure coverage for patient workflow Oversees daily patient workflow for both outpatients and inpatients.# Qualifications: Associate#s degree (required) Bachelor#s degree (preferred) Required certification/licensure/registration: ARRT, ARDMS, CNMT Basic Life Support (BLS) # *Starting Range:To Be Determined Our competitive salary package is adjusted to align with the candidate#s#relevant experience and skills.#
