Key Responsibilities: * Champion well-being and safety for staff, children, and families while fostering a positive environment. * Lead the daily operations, supervise, and manage staff performance to ensure alignment with our core values and early childhood philosophy. * Ensure compliance with laws and regulations, maintaining high standards of health, safety, and education. * Effectively communicate to staff, families, and the community. * Lead in attracting and retaining high-quality staff, providing guidance, conducting ongoing observations, coaching, and professional development. * Work to create an engaging team-oriented atmosphere that fosters a positive work environment and meets program goals. * Oversee and review weekly lesson plans and age appropriate curriculum in accordance with program goals and guidelines. * Implement assessments to monitor the developmental progress, needs, and interests of all students. * Keep abreast of research and new developments in the field of early childhood and childcare. * Be an advocate and successfully drive and grow enrollment through tours, marketing strategies, and community engagement. * Ability to be flexible in your role and complete job duties of absent staff members. * Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role. * Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (Preferred) or related field. Minimum of 5 years of child care experience. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Director of a child care program. Experience in managing staff or other supervisory experience.
