Position: Manual Machinist Shift: Days Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00/hr depending on experience and math skills test results. Sign On Bonuses for all Manufacturing Personnel!! (Scroll to the bottom for information on bonuses). JOB SUMMARY: The Manual Machinist will operate manual machining. JOB DUTIES: * Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering drawings, materials, specifications, and machining parameters. * Interprets geometric dimensions and tolerances. * Operates overhead cranes/crane hoists to move materials. * Will operate manual machines such as: lathes, mills, drill presses, saw, and other manual machines as needed. * Verifies conformance of workpiece to specifications, using square, mic, and measuring equipment. * Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. * Works well with others by showing mutual respect and consideration. * Takes pride in work produced and exhibits a professional attitude. * Performs additional duties as required. JOB REQUIREMENTS: * Must have at least 3-5 years of experience as a Manual Machinist. * One year of blueprint reading required. * Must pass a math test (basic math, geometry, and trigonometry). * Must have basic machinist tools, other tools will be provided by the company. * Demonstrated ability to modify material by drilling, grooving, cutting, turning, facing, and threading material into parts and holding tolerances to specifications. * Demonstrated ability to perform simple computer operations, such as clocking in or out of work.
