Piper Companies is looking for a Network Technician for a Contract-to-hire opportunity with a large healthcare organization in Philadelphia, PA. Responsibilities for the Network Technician: * Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operation. * Monitor network performance, and reliability making sure to implement updates and improvements as needed. * Work with EUS Technician to provide End-User support connectivity and wireless related concerns Requirements for the Network Technician: * Proven experience as a Network Technician. * Clear knowledge of network protocols especially TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and VLANS * Familiarity with Network Equipment that are common to today changing * Ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues efficiently * Effective communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with Technicians and End-users * Ability to work between multiple local sites and take care of issues as needed * Relevant certifications ( e.g, CompTIA Network+, CCNA) would be a real advantage.
