Electrical Systems Engineering Team Lead Your tasks As an Electrical Systems Engineering Team Lead, you will lead the Electrical Systems Engineering team activities in all project phases from the concept to the validation and warranty phase and development of a well-established and experienced team. Key Activities * Further development and management of employees in the Electrical Systems Engineering Team. The team members have an electrical engineering degree or technician background. The Electrical Systems Engineers are responsible for the various electrical systems on the train, consisting of the categories Vehicle Control, Auxiliary Supply, System Integration and Propulsion. * Development of unexperienced electrical engineers in terms of technical topics and business skills * Coordination and resource planning of the Electrical Systems Engineering Team for the US projects * Creation and establishing of engineering processes, guidelines and work instructions * Ensuring the cost and schedule compliance for the assigned work packages and initiation of any escalations and resolution actions with various departments within Stadler and towards suppliers * Participation in supplier negotiations, First Article Inspections and bid projects Your profile Qualifications * Completed BS degree in Electrical Engineering * At least 3 years of experience as an Electrical Systems Engineer * Experience in the Railway Industry preferred * Proven management experience in an engineering team or department is advantageous * High communication skills in an international working environment Our offer Stadler US employee benefits package includes: * Competitive Pay (plus Profit Sharing potential) * Low-cost, comprehensive Medical / Dental / Vision / Rx plans * 401(k) with employer match after 90 days * Generous Paid Time Off / 10 Paid Holidays / Extended Paid Holiday (Dec. 25 - Jan 1) * Paid training / Career development * Tuition and training reimbursement * Paid maternity and parental leave * Company-paid life and disability insurance * Referral bonus program Jennifer Hood Talent Acquisition Specialist +1 801 205 0523
