Summary:
Responsible for the timely and accurate posting and maintenance of accounts including the proper application of credit adjustment procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities are as follows: Other duties may be assigned.
• Responsible for timely and accurate posting of accounts
• Processing of credits and payments
• Communicate GSC Delivery and Credit adjustment procedures to customers and inter-company departments to ensure proper posting of receivables.
• Courteous and tactful communication with customers in resolving accounting issues.
• Maintain orderly and effective filing system
• Performs research and other projects in conjunction with daily responsibilities

Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent. One (1) year prior office experience preferred.

Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization.

Mathematic Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide and the ability to compute rate and percent.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft applications: Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Other Qualifications:
• Professional telephone etiquette
• Ability to maintain a cooperative working relationship in the performance of duties
• Knowledge of general office procedures
