Eastern Oregon University (EOU) is currently accepting applications for a Testing Coordinator (Information Technology Consultant Level 1) to join the University Learning Center. This is a Full-Time, 12-Month position, that is eligible for the full array of EOU employee benefits including full family healthcare insurance, generous paid sick, vacation and holiday time off, and State of Oregon retirement pension/savings benefits. The primary responsibility of the Testing Coordinator is to operate and manage the EOU Testing Center, provide extensive testing support to students and faculty of EOU and other universities and community colleges. Support the tutoring schedule in the Learning Center This position works with incoming freshmen, on and off campus students and professors, graduate students updating their teaching license, and general public updating chemical handling certificates. The Testing Center provides student access to tests for registered online courses available on our Canvas website and selected testing for on-campus courses. Placement testing (ACCUPLACER) for new freshmen, all on-campus SAT, CLEP tests, and Metro Institute exams are also administered by the Testing Center. The Testing Center offers training, computer lab, and Testing Center Assistant opportunities for upper division students. This position will also support the Learning center with tutoring scheduling and day to day management of tutor schedules.
