Job Title: Care System Equipment Technician - Intern Cost Center: 101651034 System Support-Biomed Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Employee Type: Regular Work Shift: Mon-Fri; day shifts (United States of America) Job Description: JOB SUMMARY The Care Specialist Equipment Technician will work under the supervision of a Biomedical associate to serve our patients through creative, high quality, equipment support and technical assistance in a timely and cost effective manner. This individual requires a high level of specialized technical ability in problem solving, use of test equipment and service documentation to maintain a wide variety of equipment types used for patient diagnostics and treatment, clinical laboratory, radiology, surgery and other medical and support departments. JOB QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation. Minimum Required: Enrolled in, or graduated from an Associate of Applied Sciences Degree program with Electronics or Electromechanical training. Preferred/Optional: None EXPERIENCE Minimum Required: None Preferred/Optional: Biomedical Engineering/Equipment Technology program enrollment or equivalent internship experience. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position.
