SUMMARY Hibbett is hiring a Senior Analyst, Programmer to join our IT team in Birmingham, AL This role will be part of the Supply Chain Systems Business Area, reporting directly to the Senior IT Manager of Supply Chain Systems. As the Senior Analyst, Programmer, you will collaborate with IT management, development staff, system administrators, and systems analysts to lead team members in delivering supply chain solutions within scope and budget. This will involve thorough requirements gathering, work estimation, and quality assurance testing. You will establish priorities while balancing support and project deliverables, playing a hands-on role in solution and project delivery. This includes constant review and adherence to plans, budgets, scope, and charters. Strong communication, collaboration skills, and a solid understanding of standard IT industry practices are essential. In this senior position, you will provide team leadership and be expected to anticipate risks and needs, making decisions that optimize departmental resources in a creative, cost-effective manner. This involves selecting and recommending IT strategies that align with business needs. We are seeking a leader with hands-on experience in all aspects of Supply Chain functions and processes, particularly with the Manhattan WMi/PkMS systems. The ideal candidate is a proven self-starter with a wide range of experience, from project inception to delivery and day-to-day support. Location: This position requires onsite work in Birmingham, AL. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Serve as the point of contact for the functional area's portfolio, resources, and scheduling. Lead and manage IT Supply Chain systems, functions, and support areas. Translate business needs into capabilities, organizing and executing monthly business reviews. Collaborate with solution analysts, programmers, architects, and business partners to develop functional solutions. Communicate status, issues, and strategies to business customers. Plan for future business capabilities, identifying application gaps and resource needs. Review and approve requirements documents, technical specifications, and quality assurance test scripts. Coordinate and assist with Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing. Interface with business users, management, and IT management. Manage production support and project work activities. Estimate resource allocations for new projects. Manage deliverables of third-party labor and oversee software and hardware vendors. Support system change and configuration management efforts. Define, develop, and document new processes, procedures, and system models. Lead requirement elicitation workshops and present findings to management. Resolve priority and resource conflicts through negotiation. Protect company assets and financial information by ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of internal control procedures. Perform other duties as required. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES No supervisory responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS 7 years of experience in Supply Chain/Logistics Systems, specifically Manhattan WMi/PkMS. Expertise in problem solving, process definition, initiative, and analysis. Mastery of Supply Chain Systems (WMS, TMS, etc.). Prior experience in a Retail Multi-Channel organization is preferred. Self-sufficient and proactive, with a strong work ethic. Excellent organizational, prioritization, and communication skills. Demonstrated leadership abilities. Comfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
