Robert Half is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller for an exciting full-time opportunity with our Full-Time Engagement Professional practice group. Responsibilities:

+ Oversee all company accounting practices, including preparing financial statements, assets, liabilities, etc.

+ Develop and maintain financial strategies and budgets for the company.

+ Manage and monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems.

+ Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for management team, shareholders, and lenders.

+ Coordinate audits and ensure all audit issues are resolved.

+ Manage relationships with insurance and tax entities.

+ Ensure compliance with state, federal and international tax laws.

+ Develop internal control guidelines, policies, and procedures for budget accounting, cash and credit management, and accounting.

+ Assist in the budgeting process and implement financial plans as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.

+ Professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA) is required.

+ Minimum of 7+ years of related experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.

+ Deep knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting.

+ Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data.

+ Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

+ Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial software systems.
