Please note: This hybrid role will require the incumbent candidate to come into the local Cigna office 3 days per week. Provides administrative support for Senior Leaders within Cigna's Global Health Benefits (GHB) segment, focused on the US with the majority of duties being high level administrative tasks which includes calendar management, planning/coordination of large events, meetings or conferences, expense management, travel arrangements. Additionally, provides planning/coordination of large events, meetings or conferences both virtual and physically within the GHB US sites (primarily Wilmington, Delaware) and support space site activities like space planning, engagement activities, ordering supplies and other related activities tied to GHB US sites. Also performs budget reporting and tracking information, a wide variety of complex typing administrative functions, edits and composes correspondence. Work requires initiative and judgment in making decisions and knowledge of department and company policies and procedures. Support special project assignments as required. Core Responsibilities: * Manages calendar resolving conflicts and proactively working with Manager assigned leaders on priorities, manages email folders, and meets overall organizational needs based on various Manager needs/styles to support the Managers leaders in their day to day demands. * Creates and maintains information in an organized manner easily accessible to leaders. * Arranges travel needs and processes expenses for Managers/leaders in an expeditious and quality manner. * Supports the Managers' teams as needed on calendar of events or special projects, such as preparing for meeting through creation of copies, consolidating/creating presentation materials with appropriate guidance, meeting quality standards. * Performs general document preparation. Prints and routes faxes to appropriate parties. Provides site support for Wilmington, DE such as ordering office supplies. Manages expense report creation and approvals as needed. Assists with reserving conference rooms for meetings, organizing onsite events with engagement or business teams and providing overall site level admin support as needed. * Backfilling for peers, as needed, in relation to own level of job knowledge, skills, and expertise. Handling and routing incoming calls to appropriate party. Leading by example. * Organizing and developing appropriate documents on computer as needed to facilitate and manage workflow. Meeting own commitments and assist in other areas, as determined by need. * Able to maintain confidentiality and discretion required regarding business content visible through coverage for leadership. Qualifications: * 5 years of relevant Administrative Assistant experience required * Prior experience working in a global / multinational and multi-cultural environment is strongly preferred * Associate degree or equivalent work experience * Ability to quickly to learn new systems and workflows * Fluency in using expense management tools, email, and other desktop applications * Typing 40+ wpm preferred * Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion required regarding business content visible through coverage for leadership * High attention to detail * Excellent teamwork & quality interaction with office personnel * Excellent team player who accepts challenges to help out in other areas as needed, as well as for self-development * Excellent customer service, organization, and negotiation skills * Ability to work independently as well as in a group with minimal guidance * Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) knowledge required; Salesforce.com and TABLEAU knowledge preferred * Excellent verbal & written communicate skills to effectively relate information to management/interoffice & external parties and customers * Ability to multitask and operate in a fast-paced production environment * Analytical skills to proactively address issues with supported leaders * Reliable attendance * Possess ability to share technical job knowledge * Initiative and commitment to deliver on expectations * Previous office/business experience * Highly professional business partner If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
