Responsibilities Thisi s a remote position. Job Summary / Purpose The Business Analyst (BA) works as a liaison between key business stakeholders and the Information Technology (IT) department. BAs are responsible for working with stakeholders to understand their business needs, provide analyzed reports or data and working with IT partners to implement solutions that meet the business needs, goals and objectives. BAs play a critical role in following: * Data Analysis - BAs will be responsible for many aspects of Data Analysis which are not exclusive to Data Entry, Collection, Formatting and Finalizing, and reporting to IT Senior Leadership, Business Sponsors, and Business Stakeholders. * Root Cause/Problem Definition - BAs interface with both the business stakeholders and core IT; they improve communication and lead to defining a clearer understanding of the drivers that created the business problem/opportunity. * Cost Effectiveness - BAs are internal consultants whose primary responsibility is to drive the organization to the most efficient and cost effective business decisions. * Solution/Protocol - BAs follow a protocol to elicit and document clear, complete and comprehensive requirements. They evaluate, define, analyze and document business problems collaborating with appropriate partners to lead to the most appropriate business solution. Essential Key Job Responsibilities * Possess a deep knowledge of spreadsheets which entail capturing data from internal and external sources to convert into usual information to enable decision making of Senior Leadership. Mastery of pivot tables, sort/filtering, graphing and complex formula creation. * Providing finalized reporting and analytics of both a financial nature as well as key service delivery matrix which include divisional performance within core responsibilities, project progress throughout the enterprise and employee engagement. * Engages with the Business Sponsor and key Stakeholders to collect necessary requirements, data, and workflows to provide to leadership or project team. * Ensures that prioritization is done with assigned tasks of other required to meet strict timelines within the IT organization. Qualifications Required Education and Experience * Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Data Science, Finance, Accounting or equivalent) * 3-5 years relative work experience * Understanding of Data Analytics conceptually in order to apply efficiently * Strong productivity software skills (MS Office, G-Suite preferred) * Displays a strong sense of urgency while dealing with ambiguity and rapid change * Effective communicator which outlines clear analysis, expectations, and outcome to audience.
