Position Summary... What you'll do... The Senior, Data Analyst - Catalog role at Walmart is a critical position that involves providing data-driven insights expertise and acting as a subject matter expert to senior functional leadership. You will be critical at articulating the needs of the customer to executive leadership, as well as reviewing and influencing strategies to achieve business objectives. The role is located at the Home Office in Bentonville, AR. As a Senior Data analyst, you'll be part of a collaborative team that's dedicated to empowering Catalog business leadership with actionable insights, reporting, and automation. You'll be responsible for creating and maintaining backend data pipelines, frontend interactive reports, and automation for business-critical decision support. We're looking for someone who has experience with SQL, Python, Dataiku, Tableau, Tableau (Prep), Power BI, Google Big Query on cloud service. The products managed and built by this associate will have a high degree of visibility with leadership. You'll make an impact if you... * Identify and evaluate potential data sources from internal and external sources * Implement processes for acquiring and integrating data from various sources. Ensure that the data is accurate, complete, and accessible * Work closely with stakeholders to understand business goals and requirements * Translate business needs into data requirements * Develop and implement algorithms for analysis and modeling * Evaluate and select appropriate software tools, frameworks, and technologies * Design and execute effective data visualization strategies for presenting complex data * Develop and implement effective dashboards and reports * Plan and lead efforts to ensure data quality and integrity * Conduct exploratory analyses to generate insights and identify patterns in data. * Collaborate with tech partners to govern metrics and ensure the enrichments and insights data marts derived from projects follow organizational standards. The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
