They oversee the development and implementation of all child specific recruitment plans which Youth Advocates submit to DCS. Provide regular feedback to the Program Director of issues that would impact the recruitment and placement of children in adoptive families. Supervisory responsibility over Youth Advocates statewide, the Family Finder position and oversight of the family vetting process and best practice procedures. Assist the Program Director in organizing seminars to address staff needs and identify relevant external training opportunities for Youth Advocate staff. Minimum requirements include a bachelor's degree in social work, education, psychology or related human service field. Master's degree preferred. Additional requirements include 30% travel in-state.
