Job Summary Job Summary This position will work at the Placer School For Adults Nevada County Campus. Class will be Monday/Wednesday from 9:00am - 11:30am. Selected candidate will work 8:45am - 11:45am. Placer School for Adults is looking for a credentialed teacher who has an ESL (English as a Second Language) credential. Appropriate Valid CA Credential with ESL Authorization. The successful candidate will have the ability to: - Make academic assessments, track progress, and maintain accurate educational records. - Develop and correct diagnostic tests. - Use effective classroom management techniques to ensure the security of the classroom environment. - Develop lesson plans and include individualized training for assignments. - Provide individual and group instruction and educational counseling. - Work cooperatively with other education staff. - Learn and adhere to departmental rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Selected candidate must be willing to teach distance learning when needed. The successful candidate will be required to complete FBI/DOJ clearance and pre-employment online training.
