Job Description To assist the Master Scheduler in maintaining a valid and realistic Master Production Schedule supporting the Business Unit Sales, and customer orders. To insure effective communication on schedules is coordinated with Sales, Planning, Manufacturing and Engineering. The main purpose of this job is to assist in meeting on time delivery to the customer, process router changes, fix delivery dates based on span changes and modify Bill of Materials. Individuals assigned to the Alloy Service Center (ASC) will be responsible for shipping, receiving and managing all inventory required to support production. Primary Duties & Responsibilities 1. Master Schedule: Objective: To assist the Master Scheduler in maintaining and adhering to the Master Schedule, supporting the Business Unit plan and meeting customer delivery. Typical Activities: * Weekly review of master schedule with the Master Scheduler including Manufacturing and Engineering. Identify areas which require modification in shipping dates based on process router changes and lot specific changes. * Insures that changes on process router are properly entered in Visibility. * Insures that Bill of Materials is amended due to changes in process router. * May Initiate and maintain the requisition of Assembled Wax Patterns to vendors. * Works with Expeditors to change routers on the floor. (Individuals working for the ASC will work as an expeditor.) 2.Delivery Service Report: Objective: To regularly communicate to the Master Scheduler, Planners, Manufacturing and Engineering regarding changes in process routers including span time and cost. Typical Activities: * Maintains and updates process router lo sheet using Excel Spreadsheet. Communicates any issues with Planning, Manufacturing, and Engineering. * Represents Planning in meetings with Finance, Manufacturing, and Engineering regarding process routers. * Insures that process routers are correctly marked by the initiating Engineers before entering in Visibility. * Monitors outside process delivery commitments, establishes delivery measurements for vendors, and distributes monthly report (scoring) for vendors. 3. Weekly Delivery Measurements: Objective: To regularly enter changes in process routers in Visibility for efficiency in span time and cost. Typical Activities: * Works with Engineers in initiating changes in process routers. * Insures that delivery dates are properly modified due to changes in the master router or lot specific changes. * May maintain and publish throughput reports for the Alloy Service Center and the Outside processing of Ti revert. Required Skills * Associate (two year) degree preferred, but will consider those with equivalent work experience. * Minimum four years related professional experience with at least two of those years related to a Planner/Scheduler/Analyst position. * Demonstrated good oral and written presentation skills. * Highly self motivated and able to work independently. * Demonstrated good organizational skills. * Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Visibility. * Positive mental attitude and ability to work well in a team environment. This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)). To be qualified to work in this facility, a successful applicant must be a U.S. Person, as defined in those regulations, and able to supply evidence of that qualification prior to starting work or be authorized to receive controlled information under a specific license or permission from the relevant government agency. The U.S. export control regulations define a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), and certain categories of Asylees and Refugees.
