Regional Maintenance Director Trio Healthcare This position requires travel minimum 5 years experience General Purpose: Implement consistent regulatory practices following NFPA 101 guidelines. Provide support to facilities, whether for renovation purposes, repairs to eliminate contractors, gap in coverage or during survey. Also ensuring all company standards are met. Working Conditions: * Work in office as well as travel in and out to other facilities * Sit, stand, lift, bend and move intermittently during working hours * Subject to last minute travel based on circumstance and need * Subject to hostile and emotionally upset residents, family members, etc. Education and Experience: * High school diploma (or equivalent) preferred. * Must have a minimum of five (5) years maintenance experience * Must have proven knowledge of various mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems * Must be knowledgeable of local building codes and ordinances * Ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job. Specific Requirements: * 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Director in a Long Term Care setting * Strong leadership skills and ability to work in a professional manner * Excellent written and oral communication skills * Minor construction skills to include but not limited to: * Drywall * Painting * Electrical * Plumbing * HVAC * Fire Doors * Flooring * Proficient computer skills * Ability to travel and provide support at multiple facilities at different locations within the state of Virginia * Organized and detailed in work performance * Self-discipline * Procure contracts/quotes for special projects * Understanding survey process and survey readiness * Manage budgets * Manage on site projects * Provide feedback for annual reviews of Maintenance Directors * Experience with maintenance and purchasing software
