Job Summary This position is in the Information Services and Technology group at Dominion Energy Southeastern Energy Group and is responsible for analysis, design, coding and testing of complex programs to support wide ranging business solutions. This includes analyzing the business needs of the customers, designing and implementing cost effective solutions to address those needs along with handling the ongoing support of existing systems. Must follow pre-established standards, policies and procedures but also have a flair for creative and innovative solutions. One position is available which will be filled at the level commensurate with the successful candidate's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience Successful candidate will have software development experience and knowledge/understanding of IT principles and development practices. Programmer Analyst - Web Developer: 3+ years related experience Senior Programmer Analyst - Web Developer: 5+ years related experience Both Levels: * Development experience using .Net technologies including C# and ASP.Net Core * Development experience with web technologies including HTML5, SCSS, and TypeScript * Experience with Angular is also desired, will consider experience with an alternate SPA framework * Experience with Gang of Four Patterns helpful * Mobile app experience is also desired - both iOS and Android, experience with MacOS and/or Ionic Capacitor/Cordova experience also helpful * Must be able to work in a professional team environment with limited direct supervision * Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, a strong customer service mindset, and solid problem-solving skills * Will be required to take part in 24x7 on-call rotation and overtime is occasionally required for project demands Education Requirements Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor Preferred Discipline(s): Business, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics Other disciplines may be substituted for the preferred discipline(s) listed above.
