What We Need: The Desktop Technician provides installation, configuration and ongoing usability of desktops, laptops, peripheral equipment and software complying with given standards and guidelines. Day to Day: * Supports software standards and guidelines * Performs deployment of all desktop software and hardware * Performs Tier-2 Application and OS remediation and incident resolution * Responsible for supporting all Desktop Hardware and Software Projects * Maintains technical currency for all end user hardware and software * Responsible for supporting enterprise projects and supports stakeholders on execution * Assists in the configuration of software and equipment and the systems testing of platform-specific versions of one or more software products * Documents faults, implements resolutions and retests to agreed standards What We're Looking For: * 3+ years Desktop Support experience * Knowledgeable with MAC OS, Windows and MS Office * Proficient with Software and Hardware Deployment * Knowledgeable in SCCM, Active Directory, * VMWare and Print Technologies * Security and Network knowledge * Certifications in prevalent technologies preferred * Knowledgeable in end user collaboration technologies * Proficient analytical and troubleshooting skills #LI-Hybrid Minimum Education Requirements: High school degree or equivalent required unless otherwise noted above Location Boston, Hingham, Quincy, Worcester Time Type Full time Salary Range: $79,920.00 - $97,680.00 The job posting range is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs and affordability. This job is also eligible for variable pay.
