Job Description An Industrial Engineer Intern is responsible for completing the following duties: * Identify areas of manufacturing process improvements * Develop proposals for changes in the manufacturing process which include cost analysis and justifications * Assist in developing proposals for management * Evaluate new technology and recommend equipment that will improve manufacturing processes and/or reduce costs * Work with the Production Managers to establish layout drawings for the most efficient manufacturing processes * Be familiar with shop capabilities and communicate to engineering so we are designing our equipment in a manner that can be most efficiently manufactured * Frequent time studies as needed * Assisting the Quality Department as needed * Other duties as assigned Employee Benefits * Weekly paycheck * 5% 401k match * On-the-spot bonuses up to $100 * Boot and Safety glasses reimbursement * Mentorship opportunities with experienced professionals in the field * Competitive compensation and potential for future career opportunities Qualifications * Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related study Traits of Our Successful Employees * Embrace Core Values: Serving Others, High Integrity, Strong Work Ethic, Culture of Opportunity & Long-Term Relationships * Good attendance and punctuality * Ability to complete tasks according to planned schedule * Excellent organizational and communication skills * High mechanical aptitude Location: 319 E Hwy 28, Morris, MN 56267
