The ideal candidate will have knowledge of industrial sewing machines, hand sewing techniques, and the ability to install patches, recondition uniforms, and perform alterations. * Will be responsible for performing alterations on trousers, changes on coats to include adjusting sleeves, replacing collars, and sewing on buttons, hooks, rank chevrons and class stripes. * Will assist with mending tears and rips in clothing. Responsible for repairs and alterations to cadet uniforms, military, and employee uniforms. * Performs one or any combination of sewing as well as blind stitch, post, sleeve, cylinder and hand-sewing techniques. * Performs other related duties as determined by supervisor. * Candidates will be required to demonstrate their ability to perform uniform alterations and repairs.
