R10048512 CoE Head of Talent Acquisition (Open) Location: Radnor, PA (Airgas HO) - Management How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? The CoE Head of Talent Acquisition is responsible for leading and optimizing performance of the talent acquisition (TA) function and service across the Air Liquide Americas (AL AME) businesses, and oversight of Airgas TA in partnership with key stakeholders ( including business leaders, hiring managers, Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs), cluster TA leads and their respective teams) to build the organization's capabilities and ensure the business has the talent to meet current and future workforce plans to execute the business strategy. This position will partner with the cluster TA teams and the cluster HRBPs to develop and implement TA and sourcing strategies related to competition to streamline the recruitment process and increase recruiting efficiency, as well as actual execution of the sourcing and staffing processes to deliver a diverse pipeline of quality candidates to the businesses. This is a unique opportunity for a visionary TA Leader to deliver exceptional talent strategies to attract, assess, and select the best talent for the organization today and the future. * Serve as the leader of AME Talent Acquisition COE. This includes bringing new ideas to the function and the business, championing best practices, challenging current methods/ best practices, driving for the best possible outcomes for AME including Airgas. * Provide day to day leadership of TA function, partnering with the cluster TA Leads of AME. * Provide leadership, support, and guidance to the TA teams embedded in the cluster with the expectation of providing close alignment across the CoE to ensure consistent execution of our Talent Acquisition strategy, goals, priorities, actions and results. * Partner with the cluster (incl. Airgas divisions') HRBPs and the cluster TA Leads to clarify and align priorities based on business objectives, understand contributing factors including market, growth, workforce plans, diversity, anticipated skills gaps, etc., * Based on the defined priorities, partner with TA teams to develop and deploy TA strategies to meet the business need, both on the short term and long-term. This should include recruiting support to source proactively, define targets, measure success and provide hiring demand forecasting. * Plan and manage annual budgets including PEX (HDCT, etc.), streamlining agency agreements, etc. to leverage economies of scale. * Develop the proper communication cadence and method to ensure TA efforts and priorities are clear and executed on time, with regular timely communication cadence SLA by TA function to their customers. * Define, report, and communicate KPIs and SLAs to businesses to ensure success, drive visibility and accountability across all TA activities. Provide on a regular basis including the interpretation of data to facilitate decision-making and recommendations. * Build and execute development plans to ensure our TA team has a comprehensive understanding of both fundamentals and advanced recruiting and sourcing tools and techniques (proactive sourcing, communicating, qualifying, negotiating and closing). * Ensure that the TA team is properly leveraging Workday and the various sourcing tools. * Ensure that best practices and process flows are fully defined, documented and trained. * Develop consistent performance and rewards (incl. incentive plans) to properly reward and motivate the TA team. * Other duties as assigned to ensure proper support to the business and HR. * Assume responsibility for maintaining and further leveraging EVP incl. on Careers Site, social media, etc. in partnership w/ Corp Comms. * Other duties as assigned. ________________________ Are you a MATCH? Required Education: * A Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, and/or equivalent work experience. Required Length & Type of Experience: * 10+ years of progressive experience in HR with experience in talent management, talent acquisition (full cycle recruiting inclusive of entry-level positions up to senior management roles and across the various functional areas). Experience leading a function and driving changes to optimize and drive performance culture is a plus. * 5+ years experience leading a TA function across multiple businesses and/ or geographies preferred; Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSA's): * Must have a personal reputation for providing superior customer service and building a culture around customer service. * As a people leader, this role must engage remote teams and retain and grow diverse teams & top talent. * Past experience building out a strategic Talent Acquisition function is preferred. * Maintains a general working knowledge of the various compliance regulations impacting talent acquisition. * Has demonstrated experience developing and maintaining strong working relationships within one's main functional area, as well as other functional areas across the company. * Excellent written and oral communications skills; ability to lead discussions, present ideas to audiences of all sizes, and interact with all levels of the organization. * Has a personal passion for improving the user experience for our applicants, our Managers, and our Associates. * Ability to think strategically and anticipate potential challenges before they occur or escalate. * Experience working within various Applicant Tracking Systems and sourcing tools. Workday knowledge is preferred. * Proficiency with Google Suite, spreadsheet management, social media, etc. * Past experience navigating the benefits and complexities of a highly decentralized organization. * Ability to work under pressure and balance multiple priorities in order to meet deadlines, both as an individual contributor and as a leader. * Limited travel may be required.
