IOS Section Manager (Information Tech Infrastructure Manager 3) As the IOS Section Manager you will provide leadership and planning to develop, coordinate and administer the Integrated Operations Section within Data Center Services (DCS), a shared service organization within Enterprise Information Services (EIS), to support the mission of providing 24/7 systems availability to meet the State's enterprise information technology needs. You will provide direction and resources to support the DCS organization as well as other state, county and city organizations in their effort to apply technology management solutions to carry out their assigned objectives. As a direct report to the DCS Deputy Director, you are part of the executive team that determines strategic direction for DCS. This position provides critical leadership to DCS by planning, developing, and maintaining essential hardware and software infrastructure including the State's enterprise monitoring and reporting tools, IT Service Management tools & processes, Command / Network Operation Center, Business Continuity Program, Colocation Service, Asset Program and Facilities Management. As the central point of contact for DCS to work with the EIS Chief Administration Officer and staff to coordinate budget, contracts, rates, licensing, procurements, Interagency Agreements, specific to Data Center Services, you will provide operational and incident-based support of systems and structures and directs activities that ensure timely completion of scheduled computer workloads in accordance with Service Level Agreements with internal and external customers, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. What We Are Looking For Minimum Qualifications: * Seven years of supervision, management, or progressively related experience in IT resource management, infrastructure, IT program development, project delivery and the establishment and maintenance of an organization's IT standards; OR * Four years of related experience in IT resource management, infrastructure, IT program development, project delivery and the establishment and maintenance of an organization's IT standards AND a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field. Desired Attributes: * Extensive knowledge of project management principles, processes, and techniques. * Demonstrated skill in managing IT organizations and teams, IT operations, tools, and technologies, and IT management practices such as Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification. * Ability to perform root cause analysis on various issues and drive corrective actions across all organizations. * Demonstrated skill and ability to collaborate with teammates and build positive business relationships with superiors, subordinates, peers, and others outside of their organization. * Proven ability and skill to clearly explain complex/technical concepts in terms that are understandable for technical and non-technical audiences.
