What You'll Be Doing Short order and cold food preparation which includes: slicing, dicing and chopping of fruits, vegetables, and meats for preparation of salads, sandwiches, and various platters. Prepares coffee tea and other beverages. Provides service as required for patients, doctors lounge, cafeteria, and catering. Sets up food supplies and utensils for daily preparation for either catering events/patient tray line/cafeteria. This includes advance prep for cooks and preparation of pureed items. May deliver food to meeting rooms. May work in the cafeteria or tray line as needed. Maintains, cleans, sanitizes work station, and equipment. Follows department procedures on sanitation regarding dating of all foods and product used daily. What We're Looking For * Education: High school or equivalent * Experience: Six months experience in a hospital kitchen or similar set up preferred but not required
