What you'll do Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following: * Lead the electronic launch team during the whole project phase. * Plan, develop and introduce vehicle commissioning concepts, processes and IT systems in pilot hall and assembly. * Evaluate product changes during the development phase and determine the impact on production processes, equipment, and resources. * Manage integration of new technology and electronic architecture changes across-department for integration in production. * Develop and implement risk assessment strategies. * Develop and implement methods and systems to ensure the software, functions, and diagnostics maturity and quality incorporating assurance processes and protocols. * Monitor, evaluate and track the progress of projects, ensuring that key milestones, deliverables, and objectives are met according to the established timelines and targets. * Stay up to date on industry trends, vehicles electronics and best practice on vehicle electrical system. * Establish key performance indicators and monitor for continuous improvements. Location & Travel Expectations: The responsibilities of this role require daily attendance at in-person meetings and events. The role will be based out of a Scout Motors location in Columbia, South Carolina. Applicants should expect the role to require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on the company's behalf. Here's what else you'll bring: * Minimum 4 years professional experience with expertise in automotive manufacturing engineering, production planning or project management. * Extensive knowledge of vehicle engineering processes and understanding of manufacturing processes. * Bachelor's/ master's degree in automotive technology, mechanical, electrical, software engineering or equivalent field. * Strong skills at organizational navigation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration at all levels; adept at developing effective partnerships and relationships. * Demonstrated ability in creative and strategic problem-solving, with experience troubleshooting vehicle systems. * Proven experience in electronic control module management within the automotive industry. * Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with critical deadlines. * Proficient in electrical vehicle software and diagnostic tools. * Proficient Project Management Skills. * Germany Language preferred. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
