If so, join our team as a Senior Software Engineer in Plano, TX! #Broadcomsoftware Job Duties: * Develop robust and scalable monitoring solutions for Fortune 500 IT data centers using Java, Spring Boot, REST Web Services, Kafka, and Microservices architecture. * Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery. * Collaborate with other senior engineers to translate business requirements into elegant and efficient technical solutions. * Develop and troubleshoot code, fix performance issues, and optimize system performance. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient technical solutions. * Build highly performant and scalable solutions, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues. * Build and maintain reusable codebases, adhering to best practices and coding * Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies in AIOps and related fields. Skillset: * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. * 5+ years of industry experience in software development. * Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, REST Web Services, Kafka, and Microservices architecture. * Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns. * Proficient in building automation pipelines using frameworks like Jenkins * Experience with AIOps and machine learning is highly desirable. * Knowledge of OpenTelemetry is an added advantage. * Experience with other monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, etc. * Experience with Observability solutions like Dynatrace, DataDog, Instana etc. is desirable * Experience working with mainframe systems is a plus (willingness to learn is also acceptable). * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. * Strong communication and collaboration skills. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Passion for learning new technologies and continuous improvement. Additional Job Description: Compensation and Benefits The annual base salary range for this position is $91,000 - $146,000 This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
