Job Description / Descripción del trabajo * Perform a variety of skilled carpentry work in the construction, installation, erection, maintenance, fabrication and repair of wooden structure and fixtures (for example: architectural woodwork, millwork, trim, concrete forms, metal and wood framing, drywall, acoustical ceilings, etc.) * Cut, shape and smooth lumber and other materials according to measurements * Review blueprints or specifications to determine work requirements * Complete assigned carpentry tasks with quality workmanship * Operate a variety of power/manual tools and equipment used in skilled carpentry * Perform heavy physical labor * Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment * Ability to perform all job duties and associated work functions in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. * Performs other related duties as assigned. * Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and foremen. * Knowledge of carpentry and construction techniques and procedures. This position is safety-sensitive.
