Position Highlights: * Receive and respond to customer inquiries requesting status, rate quotes, title defects, clearing exceptions or general information. * Review search/title opinion to determine status of title, risk analysis and underwriting requirements and exceptions. * Underwrite and type commitments, policies and endorsements according to agency goal. * Produce daily and monthly reports as indicated by Marketing/Operations Officer. * Maintain inventory of policy jackets, forms and promotional items. Position Qualifications: * Solid computer and typing skills. * Strong communication and organizational skills. * Prior experience in real estate transactions, underwriting as it relates to title insurance, mortgage lending, legal support and/or loan processing PREFERRED. * Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, organize workload, and maintain accurate files.
