Summary: Courteously greet and escort guests to tables. Assist in seating, keeping the outlet clean, and preparing the outlet for service. Follow pre-determined service standards to ensure a positive guest dining experience at a level consistent with an upscale dining environment. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: * Greets and seats guest in a promptly manner * Monitors guest's needs and responds to them in a cordial manner. * Take dining reservations via Open Table efficiently and accurately, account and update open table to reflect open tables * Communicate VIP arrivals and special requests to designated personnel * Provide guests with menus and information about the service team such as who their server will be * Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas as well as maintaining proper supplies for work station and restaurant * Answer telephone lines in a courteous and prompt manner * Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position * Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards * Perform other duties as assigned Requirements: Qualifications * 6 months of experience preferred * High School graduate or equivalent preferred * Must be at least 18 years of age * Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company * Verify right to work in the United States Work Cards * Health Physical Requirements * Regularly walk, stand or stoop, bend * Frequently lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 50 lbs. * Hearing, vision, speech and literacy (critical) * Use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity Work Environment Potential Conditions * Indoor and outdoor * Smoky and noisy * Extreme hot and cold temperatures, including humidity * Slippery surfaces, chemical agents, and exposure to dust, fumes and/or gases Disclaimer The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
