Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is looking for a Safety Manager. The ideal candidate will work in our fabrication/manufacturing facility leading the company safety initiatives and maintaining safety standards for all personnel and processes. The role will include incident investigations, illness and injury prevention programs, job hazard analyses, risk assessments, ensure OSHA compliance, and will be heavily involved in the manufacturing process. Reporting to the VP of Engineering & working closely with the executive leadership team, this role must take full ownership of the company safety processes, to drive improvements and employee engagement in safety. Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is a premier custom design build contractor for industrial refrigeration systems, providing design, fabrication, construction, commissioning, and service in-house. Key Duties: * Manage and oversee company safety program * Manage employee training programs * Conduct incident investigations * Maintain illness & injury prevention programs * Conduct job hazard analyses (JHAs) * Maintain company OSHA compliance * Manage company emergency preparedness response plans * Act as subject matter expert for EHS related policies and activities Requirements: * Leadership experience or an interest in moving into a leadership position * Ability to articulate safety initiatives to company personnel and enact change * Ability to work collaboratively and independently * This position is a safety-sensitive position and will require pre-employment and regular drug testing Preferences: * Experience in a manufacturing/fabrication/production environment highly preferred * Knowledge of state and federal safety standards, including OSHA regulations * Interest in mechanical systems, system optimization, process improvement or MEP construction Benefits: * Retirement plan; company matches dollar for dollar up to 15% * Health insurance; company pays 75% of the premiums for employee/family * Dental insurance * Vision insurance * Weekly pay * Competitive vacation & holiday pay * Supplemental insurance available (Aflac) * Short-term & long-term disability coverage * Accidental death/dismemberment coverage after one year of employment * Life insurance coverage after one year of employment * Employee referral incentives * Opportunities for advancement, professional development, training opportunities, and apprenticeship programs available * Discounts on cell phone plans, rental vehicles, and other company discounts for eligible positions
