POSITION SUMMARY: The Executive Recruiter role is instrumental in direct sourcing candidates for high level specialized positions across all business units at Marathon Petroleum Company (MPC). As a member of the Talent Acquisition team, this role will assist with exceeding our leaders' expectations and add value to their business by attracting top talent. This position will demonstrate the importance of relationship building with prospected candidates and internal stakeholders. This role offers a hybrid work schedule, but the person must be based in either the Findlay, OH or San Antonio, TX. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Manages the end-to-end executive recruitment processes for key positions that align with the organization's current strategic direction and future needs, including candidate sourcing, screening, assessment, presentation, and offer negotiation, while ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience and timely hiring outcomes. * Partners with senior leadership to understand executive-level roles, establish candidate profiles, and develop recruitment strategies to attract high-caliber candidates, while maintaining confidentiality and discretion. * Provides a consultative approach by building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders, providing guidance and insights to senior leadership on talent trends, market dynamics, and competitive intelligence. * Develops and nurtures long-term relationships with all candidates, including passive candidates and diverse talent. * Maintains relationships with external partners, including executive search firms, to leverage resources and expertise in identifying and attracting talent. * Targets and executes comprehensive executive searches with the latest technologies and advanced methodologies to build a strong pipeline of talent. * Monitors and analyzes recruitment metrics and performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of recruitment efforts and drive continuous improvement. EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION * Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. * Six (6) years of executive search or talent acquisition experience required. SKILLS * Strong sense of discernment, judgement, and emotional intelligence. * Strong communication and presentation skills to aid in executive presence * Ability to manage multiple projects and organization needs simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced, high-output environment. * Adapts seamlessly to changing priorities and deadlines. * Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to meet organization needs and goals. * Strong time management and organizational skills * Comfortable working with ambiguity, limited information, and engaging clients to reach clarity.
