SUMMARY The HR Business Partner provides assistance and facilitates the human resources processes for defined business locations of a multi-site, multi-state enterprise. Performs a variety of human resources and administrative functions to include but not limited to Performance Management, Employee Relations, Recruiting, Engagement & Retention, Training, and Compensation. Coordinates various field and home office projects and maintains confidential files and correspondence. Additional duties may be assigned to persons employed as HR Business Partners. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Assist in formulating, developing, implementing, and communicating general personnel policies and procedures. * Meet management team to provide information, discuss business updates, and implement solutions. * Serve as employee relations expert in developing and training office managers in identifying, analyzing, and resolving human resources issues. * Lead full cycle recruiting and partner with hiring managers to understand talent needs. * Processes all employment action changes for status changes, new hires and terminations. * Analyze employee feedback results, work with managers to develop and implement action plans where needed. * Provide timely assistance to managers and associates regarding human resource questions and HR processes. * Support key merger and acquisition strategy for onboarding processes, applications, systems and delivery. * Oversees unemployment claims management and interacts with managers to ensure timely submission of employer responses. * Accumulate information from various sources to make staffing and compensation decisions. * Review and assist managers with applicant tracking database. * Assist with ensuring compliance in all areas of human resources, including I-9 compliance and audits. * Aides in day-to-day human resources administration and questions. * Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. * Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. * Work closely with HR Generalist ensuring all onboarding needs, including new hire paperwork processing, check lists, e-Verify and orientation of staff. * Participate in HR Team responsibilities, including assisting with projects and correspondence. Assists with employee event planning initiatives, as needed. * Manage tasks to meet time sensitive deadlines. * Performs other tasks and special projects as required or assigned by management. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES * Knowledge of personnel practices and theories of a human resources department and formulate goals and objectives consistent with ADCS business goals as well as federal, state, and local guidelines. * Knowledge of management principles and theories. * Fluent in MSWord, Excel, and general HRIS reporting systems. * Excellent data entry skills. * Excellent organizational skills. * Ability to manage time efficiently, prioritize, multi-task, and adapt to change. * Work requires someone who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills and who can work with minimal supervision. * Knowledge of technical skills and recruiting techniques. * Experience as a Recruiter, with direct experience with various selection processes, virtual screenings. * Ability to keep all HR information confidential. Disclosure of confidential information is grounds for termination.
