Here's what you'll be doing: * Recruit and train office staff * Complete daily bank reconciliation & cash report * Review and sign company checks * Perform weekly schedule reviews and work with office staff to maintain them. * Collect NSF funds; turn over applicable items to legal counsel for collection * Formulates procedures for systematic retention, protection, retrieval, transfer and disposal of records * Review documentation which relate to the handling and processing of documents. * Review payroll before it is processed * Prepare and process monthly sales tax deposits * Prepare and process monthly VIT tax payments * Perform month-end close procedures * Assist in completion of annual/review/audit * Liaison with customers and outside vendors * Lend support to all department managers Here's what you'll need: * 5 or more years of experience working in a franchise dealership business office * 2 or more years of experience in a supervisor or office manager role highly preferred * Advanced-level proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel * Thorough understanding of accounting principles * Experience with DMS systems such as ADP/Reynolds/Ignite a must * High School diploma, college degree is preferred * Must be able to provide references upon request We are an Equal Opportunity Employer (( We Hear You ))
