Job Description: Senior Systems Analyst, Digital Share Services The Role and Team Fidelity's Workplace Investing (WI) Digital Shared Services team is looking for a highly motivated systems analyst to be part of its dynamic, globally distributed team of IT professionals responsible for the development and maintenance of Fidelity's WI Digital Shared Services platform. A successful systems analyst on this team participates in all phases of a project lifecycle, but is more actively involved in solutioning with our Squad Leads / Product Owners to gather & document business and systems requirements, helping with current state analysis of our systems, helping define our technology solution, and partnering with QA in test case preparation. The role requires great collaboration with members of various business and IT groups throughout the life cycle of a project. Our team focuses on building scalable and innovative solutions that help millions of Fidelity's customers plan & invest for retirement, manage, and transact from their DC retirement accounts. You will be part of an agile engineering scrum team working in a fast-paced environment, closely collaborating with business product, architecture, and other engineering teams. This position is based out of Westlake, Texas. Primary Responsibilities * Assist in defining project scope based on analysis of business requirements and existing systems * Write User Stories which include concise and clear system requirements which will be used by developers to implement API updates * Produce use case documents and functional solutions to achieve project goals * Track changes, decisions and issues that occur during the project and create/maintain up to date documentation * Participate in the development and review of test plans by QA * Work closely with the Squad Leader and Scrum Master to help with project planning * Work closely with Tech Lead, developers and QA Testers to ensure systems requirements are being developer and tested per specifications. Education and Experience * Bachelor's degree in an IT or a Financial subject area required * 5+ year(s) of systems analysis experience required * 3+ year(s) of experience working with Agile development teams Skills and Knowledge * Excellent written & verbal communication and presentation skills * Excellent analytical & problem solving skills * Proactive collaboration with both business customers and highly technical team members * General IT knowledge preferred * Working knowledge of Microsoft Toolkit * Knowledge of software development methodologies & tools including Agile and Jira * Financial Services/401k knowledge is preferred * Ability to read and understand code is a plus * Ability to work successfully across geographic locations Company Overview At Fidelity, we are passionate about making our financial expertise broadly accessible and effective in helping people live the lives they want!
