As a Financial Advisors, you are expected to service existing client relationships under the supervision of AVP Financial Advisors or VP Financial Advisors. The responsibilities of this position are broad and include financial plan preparation and delivery, investment analysis and recommendations, wealth management analysis and recommendations and other services delivered by the firm. As a Financial Advisor, you will: General * Supports the AVP Financial Advisors and VP Financial Advisors with analysis, client service and technical assistance. * Learns technical skills to prepare to service clients independently as a Financial Advisor. * Engages in teamwork and teambuilding and integrate into the culture. * Understands and supports the firm's vision, mission and strategy. * Leverages the time and expertise of AVP Financial Advisor/VP Financial Advisor by assisting them and at times replacing them in the execution of steps in the client service process. * Markets the firm and develops its reputation with referral sources and the community. * Attracts new clients to the firm. * Uphold Nicolet's philosophy and policies by maintaining appropriate controls to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations, thereby fulfilling legal responsibilities and enhancing the quality of services provided by Nicolet. * Understand and communicate the value of diversity within the workplace and to work successfully with others without regard to age, gender, race, sexual orientation, ethnicity, culture, religion, disability status, socioeconomic status or other non-job-related classification, including a commitment to Nicolet's policies on equal employment opportunities and non-discrimination with a willingness to pursue efforts of inclusion and respect toward different perspectives. * Performs all other duties as assigned. Analytical * Attends client meetings and takes extensive notes. * Analyzes client information and prepares reports and presentations. * Enters information into financial planning software and prepares draft plans. * Analyzes asset allocation and generates rebalancing trades. Client Service * Actively participates in client meetings. * Begins to take lead on less complex client relationships. * Assists with onboarding, enrollment, and employee education with Retirement Plan Services. * Answers basic questions for clients (a license may be required for some). * Shows clients how to access their accounts and read statements. * Presents product information or options to clients. * Handles requests for transfers of funds in and out of accounts. * Enters or updates cost basis information. * Fills out necessary forms for opening or maintaining accounts (if not performed by an admin). * Coordinates the transfer of client assets to the firm during new client onboarding, working closely with the Administrative Assistant/Operations Team. * Interfaces with the broker-dealer or custodian to obtain information or account data and conveys service requests. * Maintains information in the CRM system (Salesforce). * Sets up and retrieves reports in the portfolio management system (e.g., Salesforce, Orion, Envestnet, Accutech, FirstRate). * Assists in generating performance reports. Qualifications * Has earned an undergraduate degree in a related discipline such as Accounting, Finance or Economics. * Completion of FINRA Securities Industries Essentials (SIE) and Series 65 and/or Series 7 and Series 66. * Two to five years of experience.
