Job Posting Title: Project Manager - Institute for Military and Veteran Family Wellness * --- Hiring Department: Office of the Associate Dean for Research * --- Position Open To: All Applicants * --- Weekly Scheduled Hours: 40 * --- FLSA Status: Exempt * --- Earliest Start Date: Sep 01, 2024 * --- Position Duration: Expected to Continue Until Aug 31, 2025 * --- Location: UT MAIN CAMPUS * --- Job Details: General Notes This is a grant-funded position and reassignment will be based upon performance, progress toward research goals and continuation of funding. Purpose The project manager position will manage, develop, direct and evaluate assigned projects and plans with an emphasis on schedule control, coordination of project development and implementation, and communication with designated clients. Responsibilities * Communicate with external stakeholders. * Manage hires, train, and supervise all research staff with a strong focus on the professional development of the staff. * Coordinate data analysis and reporting. Oversee data collection, data entry, and data cleaning as needed to assist with projects. Review and approve all reports in accordance with contractual obligations, manage feedback from funding agency, and collaborate with Communications Director and Principal Investigator (PI) to develop strategies to disseminate findings. * Coordinate the design phase of research. Assist in the development and review of research-related grant applications in coordination with PI. Provide feedback on literature reviews. Provide feedback on Institutional Review Board (IRB) submissions. Review final documents before submission and monitor to ensure adherence to study protocol and all study timelines. * Assist with the implementation of research designs. Coordinate pilot intervention, recruitment, and scheduling, providing guidance to address any concerns. Review all progress reports prior to submission and ensure deadlines are met. * Participate in trainings, staff meetings, events, and other activities. * Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or related field with at least 5 years of responsible level experience in program administration or program coordination. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Values the contributions of others in the workplace. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate. Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or related field with at least 5 years or more of responsible level experience in program administration or program coordination. Doctoral Degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or related field with responsible level experience in program administration or program coordination. Familiarity with Military culture.
