Job Title: Chemical Technician Position Overview: This position is primarily responsible for operating ink-making machinery and equipment, manufacturing and packaging fluids, and keeping their workstation, equipment and products clean and orderly. * Primary Responsibilities and Tasks: * Operates ink-making machinery and equipment. * Pulls, weighs, blends raw materials to make inks (water, solvent, UV/EB, or oil based). * Reads and interprets batch tickets and adhering to work processes and procedures. * Processes and completes documentation accurately by recording information on batch tickets, labels containers, packages inks and inspects customer products per requirements. * Meets schedules and metrics and ensuring quality products are produced. * Follows all safety and regulatory compliance procedures. * Attends all required meetings and training. * Inventory control activities. Hard Skills: * Prior industry experience working with the operation of ink-making machinery and equipment. * Experience working with batch tickets to make specific products relating to the company. * Experience doing inventory control. Soft Skills: * Adherence to safety and regulatory compliance. * Strong attention to detail. * Great time management skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks at once. * Strong communication skills.
