Role: Customer Service Technical Content EditorLocation: Woodridge, IL (Onsite)Type: FTEMandate Domain: Automotive JD : Customer Service Diagnostic Content Developer/AuthorSkills :Diagnostic tool - EST/SDS/CAN analyzer/ DLBCan understand functionality of features evolved in vehicle to diagnose possible causes of DTCGood Knowledge of Fault code analysis,Arbortext with automobile background experience, In Arbortext, experience working with DITA and XML, Knowledge of CAN communication over OBD Job RoleExperienced in Diagnostics troubleshooting/Technical Writer with more than 2 years of experienceIndependently gather information from technical and non-technical Subject Matter Experts to organize, develop, and write technical service contentHands-on experience with developing customer service fault code diagnostics documentationKnowledge of DITA XML authoring using Arbortext and graphics tool such as Adobe IllustratorUnderstanding of structured authoring (DITA)Hands on experience in vehicle electrical/electronic diagnosticsKnowledge of diagnostics tools used in automobile for vehicle diagnosisExperience with service tools and its specifications used for vehicle servicingKnowledge of XML and DITA XML authoring using Arbortext Can understand vehicle electrical architecture, fault codes finding & developing trouble shooting to resolve fault codesKnowledge of CAN communication over OBDFamiliar with electric vehicle fault code diagnostics and aware of necessary precaution to take care of while handling high/low voltage connectionsGood understanding of Agile environment & alignment to Agile writing principlesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsCan understand functionality of features evolved in vehicle to diagnose possible causes of DTC generated & to write appropriate step by step procedure to diagnose those DTC'sKnowledge of writing programming procedures to program module parameters using any programming software toolThe candidate must have bachelor's degree from engineeringGood Knowledge of Fault code analysisExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate effectively across multiple levels of managementKnowledge of automotive system theory, in any or all the following areas:Electronic and electrical fundamentalsFault code diagnosticsModern automotive systems "Tech Mahindra is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
