Overview Full Time Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to provide medical and health services for our inpatients of Belmont, by coordinating medication administration, evaluations and mental health assessments. We have a competitive base salary in addition to coverage and productivity bonuses. Andy.Diffenbaugh@acadiahealthcare.com #LI-AD1 #LI-BBH AHPR Responsibilities Summary: * Responsible for providing clinical services to patients at the facility. * Practice within medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations, as well as by corporate, facility policy or procedures. * Review medical information on patients to ensure medical stability and to offer medical recommendations. * Evaluate patients for mental, emotional or behavioral disorders. * Treat or direct treatment of patients, utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and medications. * Review and complete medical information for individual care plans, documents services and information in a timely manner. * Maintain confidential documentation, compliance and billing in accordance with the policy and procedures. Qualifications Qualifications:• Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required.• One or more years' post graduate degree practice preferred.• Licensed in the the state in which the facility(s) operate.Licenses/Certifications:• Board certification in psychiatry• Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working.
