A Project Engineer/Technical Project Manager job in Huntsville, AL 35806 is currently available at Belcan. This position will support one of our key aerospace clients with the design, development, and manufacturing of rocket engine assemblies and subassemblies. This is an onsite work position with the need to be onsite at a client's Huntsville, AL facility plus potential need to travel to other sites as required. This is a full-time direct position with benefits. Job Duties: * Support Integrated Product Team lead in engine development and production * Responsible to support and manage requirements and customer interactions * Oversee and manage interfaces with other subsystems * Energetic, organized, and proactive project engineer to track project tasks while aligning to project scope, schedule, cost, and risk * Ability to lead and drive cross-functional collaboration and coordination to lead team to successfully meet project plans * Oversee and manage procurement and production issues to avoid production delays. Work with Supply Chain and Vendors as necessary to maintain schedule. * Understand scheduling and critical paths to drive schedule and avoid delays Required Qualifications: * Bachelor of Science Engineering degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or similar disciplines. * Minimum 5+ years' experience in aerospace hardware development and project management. Ability to be self-directed, take project ownership, provide leadership * Proficiency with MS Office, MS Excel, MS Project. * Occasional travel as needed. * Must be a U.S. citizen.
