Brown and Caldwell seeks a Senior Client Services Director with an established track record of marketing, winning, and executing design-build projects and programs for civil infrastructure. The accomplished and achieving Senior Client Services Director, is highly recognized and regarded in Brown and Caldwell and would be responsible for growing and delivering our portfolio of collaborative delivery for key clients. Characteristics of the successful candidate include the proven ability to identify and support revenue growth from collaborative delivery projects. This position will focus on collaborative delivery project development and sales in public- and private-market sectors including municipal water and wastewater facilities. The successful candidate will develop, maintain, leverage and expand their exceptional relationships with local and national clients. The candidate will have the ability to navigate and align the client organization with BC's team of experts and resources, manage and/or oversee design-build program/project assignments, ensure profitable design-build project/program performance with superior quality, while exceeding client expectations. This role requires the candidate to identify and evaluate a broad range of potential procurement and delivery models on behalf of clients and facilitate the procurement process on behalf of project owners. The candidate would also be expected to have a strong commercial understanding and ability to successfully negotiate in line with Brown and Caldwell's preferences and expectations. This individual would also develop, maintain, and leverage relationships in the infrastructure construction market to promote competitive participation in client procurements. Job Expectations: Successful candidates will work closely with the IPD team, Business Unit Leaders and Client Managers nationwide. Responsibilities to include: * Develop, support and capture collaborative delivery opportunities ranging in size from $5mm to more than $200mm * Assist BC teams and client teams in defining, developing, and implementing a variety of collaborative delivery procurement strategies as a trusted advisor * Support Client Service Teams in IPD related education and growth to targeted clients Serve as a primary point of contact. Act as the primary point of contact for matters related to Brown and Caldwell marketing and service delivery to assigned opportunities and internal geographies as assigned. Candidate will be expected to maintain relationships throughout the client organization, including at the executive management level. Delivery Leadership: Oversee and lead project delivery on design-build or alternative delivery projects. Development and execution of strategies working with business unit and IPD leadership to enhance project delivery methodology and successful project lifecycle delivery. Understand client critical success factors. Leverage existing relationships to develop and maintain a deep understanding of the critical success factors (CSFs) of client organizations (including the various departments and employees within the organization). Coordinate the client service and marketing teams. Coordinate and collaborate with BC marketing and project delivery teams to address client CSFs, ensure excellent service delivery and maximize client profit potential. This includes maintaining and implementing strategic and tactical action plans to position for future design-build work. Serve as clients' advocate internal to BC. Stay in close coordination with Client Service Teams or CSMs on client collaborative delivery contracts and projects, and work with BC team members to: identify resources to support projects, Maintain client opportunity database. Through research and relationships, develop detailed knowledge and a deep understanding of future IPD in concert with geographic assignments and CSMs. Leadership. Oversee and lead project delivery on design-build or alternative delivery projects. Development and execution of strategies working with business unit and IPD leadership to enhance project delivery methodology and successful project lifecycle delivery.Visibility. Promote BC market exposure, with a collaborative delivery emphasis, through support of selected regional and/or national conferences and committees. Desired Skills and Experience: * Minimum of 14 years' experience in infrastructure programs and design-build projects in the municipal and private market sectors with progressive responsibilities for sales and business development * Ability to successfully develop new business opportunities including: * Identifying program, design-build, and owner advisor opportunities * Making appropriate decisions on whether or not to pursue opportunities * Developing winning project development strategies including identifying and engaging suitable teaming partners in appropriate teaming arrangements in the best interests of BC and its clients * Ability to identify suitable new markets for design-build and owner advisor business expansion and to develop plans for initiating profitable client relations and projects in these new areas, including: * Understanding skills needed * Comparing skills needed with current BC capabilities * Identifying personnel to recruit to help capture new markets * Ability to lead preparation of strategically significant collaborative delivery proposals and related sales activity to win and close new opportunities * BS engineering or construction management related discipline required; MS degree preferred * PE or Construction license or related professional registration preferred Salary Range: Location A: $163,000 - $243,000 Location B: $179,000 - $267,000 Location C: $195,000 - $292,000 Benefits and Other Compensation: We provide a comprehensive benefits package that promotes employee health, performance, and success which includes medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, life insurance, an employee assistance program, paid time off and parental leave, paid holidays, 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer match, performance-based bonus eligibility, employee referral bonuses, tuition reimbursement, pet insurance and long-term care insurance.
