About The Role As a Project Engineer, you'll be essential in planning, developing, coordinating, and managing on-site construction engineering activities for extensive projects. Your efforts will ensure projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and environmental compliance. Key Responsibilities * Understand, review, and control shop drawings and submittals for process pipe, equipment, electrical, and I&C, ensuring cross-discipline coordination and contract specifications. * Assist in purchasing process equipment, electrical, instrumentation, controls, and process mechanical items (pipe, valves, supports, specialties) * Coordinate the installations and sequencing of self-perform installation work, and process mechanical and electrical systems. * Maintain, coordinate, and distribute contract documents, addenda, field orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), RFPs (Requests for Proposals). * Lead project quality control processes, including testing plans and protocols. * Assist in assembling proposals and preparing owner change order requests, including pricing for self-performed work. * Maintain "As-Built" drawings and prepare final close-out documentation. * Secure operations manuals, guarantees, and warranties; assist in the project close-out process. Qualifications * 3-5 years of relevant experience in water/wastewater treatment plant construction (required). * BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. * Thorough understanding of construction industry practices, standards, and safety protocols. * Proficiency in database management (e.g., Microsoft Excel) and industry-specific software (e.g., Bluebeam). * Excellent communication and teamwork skills. * Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
