Our interns will have the flexibility of working 2 days remotely, and 3 days in office per week at one of our state-of-the-art offices in Chicago, Kansas City, and New York City. To be eligible for this internship, applicants must be enrolled in a university or college program and should not be scheduled to graduate before December of the year in which the internship takes place. The Cboe Labs team is hiring for a Research and Product Development intern. The Cboe Labs intern will work within the Cboe Labs research and product development teams. Cboe Labs is a cutting-edge innovation hub which drives growth in Cboe's expansive suite of derivatives products by creating innovative new products and enhancing existing offerings. Our mission is to bring easy-to-adopt and unique products to market, with a focus on providing product solutions built for risk management. Your responsibilities and learning objectives will be: * Assist in development of novel derivatives products, from ideation to product launch. * Perform extensive research and analysis using Cboe's expansive collection of data in order to drive decision making. * Gain in-depth exposure and understanding of Cboe's current derivative offerings. * Lead, design, and implement an independent project to develop product knowledge and project management skills. There will be an opportunity to present this project to Cboe leadership and Derivatives Strategy teammates. The ideal candidate has: * Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical field and should not be scheduled to graduate before December of the year in which the internship takes place. * Knowledge/interest in global financial markets, specifically derivatives. * Innovative problem solver and fast learner. * Proficiency in Python (both functional and object-oriented programming), SQL, and Microsoft Excel is required. * Strong written/verbal communication skills.
