OVERVIEW: The Senior Project Planner drives the business strategy through the creative production process for multiple areas of business.The Senior Project Planner ensures the timely and brand-accurate creation of Bloomingdale's marketing assets. Example projects include trigger email series, app projects and seasonal fashion campaign media. The ideal candidate is a seasoned project manager that excels at maintaining fluid processes with cross-functional stakeholders and managing individual projects, while overseeing multiple areas of business. Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization and build relationships as well as effectively manage timelines, and problem solve. Perform other duties as assigned. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Serves as primary contact for all requests, challenges and initiatives for assigned monthly and seasonal projects Fields and evaluates all project requests for their areas Serves as liaison and works closely with creative, marketing, merchandising, site and media groups in the planning, execution, and on-time delivery of marketing assets. Necessary stakeholders include both internal and external vendors Schedule and lead kick-off meetings, manage follow-ups and all necessary communication for specific projects as well as oversee execution for team Maintains daily production schedule for marketing assets Ensures all teams have the required information for assets; follows up on outstanding issues and holds stakeholders responsible for missing information Reviews projects through a business/creative lens & gains alignment from key stakeholders Routes assets for approval & collects feedback from cross-functional partners Analyzes validity of off-process requests-tracks changes; implements the work stream & communicates with stakeholders Understands and evaluates existing processes. Suggests changes to refine and streamline workflows with the goal of maximizing efficiency and productivity without sacrificing quality Regular, dependable attendance & punctuality QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Experience: We encourage candidates with either a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field to apply. Minimum of 4 years project management or related experience.
