Overview Kimley-Horn's Tampa/Tallahassee Florida offices are seeking an CRM Specialist/Senior Archaeologist with 4+ years of experience to join their Environmental team! This is not a remote position. Responsibilities Serve as a Task Manager and Principal Investigator for a broad array of projects and clients. The successful applicant will work alongside our existing cultural resources and environmental professionals and other senior staff to successfully navigate a variety of federal, state, and municipal ordinances for our clients. * Ensure clients receive high-quality, on-time deliverables.• Oversee and coordinate with teams conducting both field and desktop research and impact analysis• Provide technical oversight and interdisciplinary team oversight• Provide quality control for all deliverables and ensure compliance with applicable regulations• Train and mentor junior staff and actively engage in professional development• Interface with clients and external stakeholders• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations affecting CRM and general industry trends• Demonstrate technical excellence in their area of expertise and maintain knowledge of best management practices• Oversee field investigations of proposed project sites to assess or evaluate resources or the potential for resources• Develop and maintain existing and new business relationships in collaboration with senior staff Qualifications * Advanced degree in archaeology, anthropology, historic architecture/architectural history, or a closely related field or 10+ years of experience in cultural resources management in Florida and the Southeast United States * Meets Secretary of the Interior Standards for Professional Archaeologist * 5+ years of experience preparing or reviewing a variety of technical reports, including Cultural Resources Assessment Surveys * 5+ years of experience in survey, testing, and data recovery projects of various sizes and complexity * Registered Professional Archaeologist (RPA) preferred * Knowledge of principles, practices, and techniques of CRM and relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations * Knowledge of and experience in applying research methods and forming and maintaining internal-team relationship * Ability to manage projects and teams as a leader and/or supervisor and to handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment * Excellent verbal and written skills * Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a large, multi-disciplinary team and promote and sustain effective working relationships with clients, the public, and other agencies * Proficient organizational, schedule, and budget management skills * Proficiency with GIS and other mapping software * Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history Why Kimley-Horn?
