Tewksbury MA/Chemical Analysis Division/ Production Process & Analytics Business Unit The Chemical Analysis business provides a broad mix of analytical instruments and services to a diverse range of end user markets including Safety & Security, Environmental, Food Safety, Life Sciences, Medical, Energy, and Minerals and Mining. Its instruments are deployed globally in the field and on the line, in dynamic environments where customers put a premium on quality, reliability and ease of use. The Chemical Analysis business operates within a global footprint with more than 2,000 colleagues, delivering product solutions to customers that allow for confident, on-the-spot decision making. How you will make an impact: As a Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer III the extensiveness of your role will allow you to play a pivotal part in working on and the qualification of ground-breaking technology for devices that make the world a healthier, cleaner, and safer place. In this role you will have a chance to work with other software, electrical, and mechanical engineers as well as scientists to qualify something from inception to first customer shipment. This role provides the opportunity to grow within the Software Quality Assurance team and across the Thermo Fisher organization. What you will do: * Experience with software validation on embedded devices (desired) * Ability to work with multi-disciplined, global teams. * Strong knowledge in understanding system functional requirements, test case development, test execution, defect reporting and verification. * Experience within agile software development lifecycle processes * Tools: Jira, Confluence and Xray. How you will get here: Education * BS in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics and 2 - 5 years of related experience.
